Our Journey: Pioneering Pickleball in Pakistan
The story of pickleball in Pakistan is one of passion, foresight, and rapid expansion. Spearheaded by the visionary leadership of Rana Fakhar Saeed and a dedicated group of pioneers, the PPF was established to introduce and champion this unique sport. From setting up the very first courts to organizing foundational games, the PPF has been at the forefront, driven by an unwavering commitment to share the joy, health benefits, and camaraderie that pickleball offers.
What We Do: Driving Pickleball Forward
The PPF is actively engaged in a diverse range of initiatives to fulfill our mission and realize our vision:
Structured Coaching & Training Programs: Developing and implementing standardized programs to train and certify coaches, and to provide players with the skills needed to excel.
Official Tournaments & Events: Organizing a robust calendar of national and regional events, including the prestigious Pakistan Pickleball Open, to provide competitive platforms and foster community spirit.
Player Ranking & Recognition: Implementing a fair and transparent system to rank players, recognize achievements, and track progress within the national framework.
Community Building & Outreach: Actively promoting pickleball through awareness campaigns, grassroots initiatives, and club affiliations to make the sport accessible and popular across diverse communities.
National & International Representation: Working towards formal recognition from the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) and maintaining strong ties with the Global Pickleball Federation (GPF) and other international bodies to ensure Pakistan’s voice is heard on the global stage.
Governance & Standards: Upholding international rules and equipment standards, and promoting fair play to ensure the sport grows with integrity and professionalism.
Strategic Partnerships: Collaborating with technology partners like Gameup and equipment manufacturers like Ziha Sports to enhance infrastructure, provide resources, and expand the sport’s reach.
